What is a girl friday?
Girl Friday is a variation on the term Man Friday, which is itself an idiom derived from the character Friday from the novel Robinson Crusoe.
It is used to describe an especially faithful female aide, especially in detective films-noir. It is also used to describe a girl or woman who is employed in an office to do several different jobs, helping other people.
This page will document my life as a Girl Friday – offering more of an insight into the benefits of employing a Girl Friday. You can also see what they have been saying about me by looking at the Testimonials page.
